Privacy Policy

This is a static website. We do not run analytics, we do not set cookies, and there is no form on this site to type anything into. The short version is that we do not collect personal information about you.

What we collect

Nothing directly. Elegant Furniture Store serves fixed pages. There is no account system, no newsletter signup, no comment section and no contact form.

What our host records

This site is hosted on AWS Amplify. Like essentially all web hosting, Amazon Web Services records standard server access logs — IP address, timestamp, the page requested, browser user-agent — for the purposes of serving the site, security, and abuse prevention. We do not use these logs to build profiles of visitors, and we do not combine them with anything else.

Links to Amazon

This site contains affiliate links to Amazon.com. When you follow one, you leave this site and Amazon's own privacy notice and cookie practices apply, not ours. Amazon sets a cookie that lets it attribute a purchase to us for a limited period; that transaction is between you and Amazon, and we never see your name, your order, your payment details, or your address. We only ever see anonymous, aggregated counts of clicks and items in Amazon's reporting.

Cookies

We set none. If that changes — for example if we add privacy-respecting analytics or advertising — this page will be updated before the change goes live, and we will add a consent mechanism where one is required.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. If you believe we hold something about you, or you have a question about this policy, please get in touch via our contact page and we will answer.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top of this page changes with it.
